FARM RULES

FARM RULES

  • Guests must be accompanied by a farm staff member to interact with the animals; no one is allowed to visit the animals alone.
  • Please stay on designated walking paths. Guests are not allowed in animal enclosures, agricultural fields, or off-trail without the guidance of farm staff.
  • All children must be accompanied by an adult who is within eye-sight and ear-shot of the child at all times.
  • All trash, recycling, and personal belongings must be either placed in the appropriate waste receptacle or taken with you.
  • Guests are not allowed to feed any animals onsite. Farm animals are fed by staff according to specific schedules and dietary needs. In addition, feeding any animal by hand can accidentally teach them bad manners like biting.
  • Be safe around farm animals. Our animals are well-socialized but all animals can be unpredictable. Guests may pet animals at their own risk. It is never a good idea to put your hand near an animal’s mouth. Animals can carry germs that can make you sick.
  • Never eat, drink, or put things into your mouth in animal areas. Wash your hands after visiting animal areas.

PET AND SERVICE DOG POLICY

As a working farm, we have guardian dogs on the premises whose primary job is to protect our livestock. For the safety of your pets, please do not bring them to the farm, as our dogs are highly protective and may see them as a threat.

Service animals are, of course, welcome. We kindly ask that you keep them on a leash and under your control at all times. No service animals are allowed on the farmyard or market garden and must remain in the building for their safety.

Thank you for understanding and helping us maintain a safe environment for everyone.
